HEJJJJJJ!!  WOOT WOOT A GOOD WEEK!  (An ode to Syster Daines: luv u)  There is opposition in all things let me tell ya. We experienced some good and some bads this week.  One day out on the streets we were on FIRE. Met a guy who not only wanted a copy of the Book of Mormon for him but for his 18 ukrainian friends and his 4 turkish friends. We felt pretty good about that.  And then just like that the next day, same fire, and NO ONE wanted to talk with us. It was #sad but we thought a lot about this. We will never be able to choose if other people will listen, but we always get to show God that we're willing. That is a REAL gift. I'm thankful that I get to show him that I'm doing it for him, and nothing else.  Because quite frankly, nothing else would have me in Sweden during the winter while my family is in Disney world haha. I do love the Lord (and Sweden in the winter;)) HIGHLIGHTS: - WENT SLEDDING! so fun  - make candied yams for the ward and shared ...

Hejsan! IT SNOWED. like a lot. Would've been snowed in all day but the elders came and saved us #givethanks  I am writing this in line to get winter tires on, we are so prepared.  This week was fire. I would like to take some time on my pedestal and tell everyone about the story when Nephi broke his bow.  Quick recap: - in the wilderness  - needs to hunt food to survive  - uses his awesome steel bow to do so - breaks said bow  - family complains against him  - makes a wooden bow  - has the Lord tell him where to go - gets food  Quick recap about me when I read this story: - in snowy wilderness  - needs to fulfill my missionary purpose  - usually used skills to do so  - feels more tired than usual  - feels like less success is seen So a few parallels. TBH I felt like a broken steel bow for a second this week! But I realized something from this story. It doesn't matter if I'm a steel bow or a wooden bow, the Lord will get hi...

Tjena hej!! This week was absolutely FIRE  Äldste Holland came all the way to Sweden to absolutely change our lives. SO incredible.  After we listened to him we went to the temple as a whole mission, and as the temple matron put it - "the temple was full, and it wasn't just missionaries." 75% of all the missionaries here have ancestors who come from Sweden, and the majority of us did some temple work for our ancestors. What a powerful memory.  A note about Äldste Holland - HE'S FIREY AND FUNNY. He said the phrase "let's duke it out in the parking lot." Lol. Takeaways: use the bom. #FACTS We made a goal to use the Book of Mormon as much as possible, basically to drown the public in it haha, and we saw ~miracles~ !! One of them // we got in contact with an inactive member and after we showed her our copies of the book of mormon and shared out testimonies she said "maybe that's why I fell away, I never had a string enough testimony of it. I would l...

Tjena! We got to visit the temple with Olivia for the first time this week. Total miracle considering we didn't have a reserved time so we decided to just show up haha.  We got to the grounds and we watched as silent tears fell down her cheecks. Such a strong spirit.  I felt the same spirit Saturday night - Alla Helgons Dag. A day in Sweden where EVERYONE goes to visit their loved-one's graves to light and leave a candle. We asked people who they lit their candle to. We heard a lot-  childhood friend grandparents on both sides, aunts and uncles etc.  I felt the same spirit on Sunday during testimony meeting. Watching one sister after the other during the hour stand up and share their feelings about Heavenly Mother and their divine role in God's plan.  I felt the same Spirit teaching about the holy ghost to the youngest of the family we're working with, and watching him then teach his sister. Then him telling us that's what he feels when he comes to church :)...
