Week 62
Tjena!
We got to visit the temple with Olivia for the first time this week. Total miracle considering we didn't have a reserved time so we decided to just show up haha.
We got to the grounds and we watched as silent tears fell down her cheecks. Such a strong spirit.
I felt the same spirit Saturday night - Alla Helgons Dag. A day in Sweden where EVERYONE goes to visit their loved-one's graves to light and leave a candle. We asked people who they lit their candle to. We heard a lot- childhood friend grandparents on both sides, aunts and uncles etc.
I felt the same spirit on Sunday during testimony meeting. Watching one sister after the other during the hour stand up and share their feelings about Heavenly Mother and their divine role in God's plan.
I felt the same Spirit teaching about the holy ghost to the youngest of the family we're working with, and watching him then teach his sister. Then him telling us that's what he feels when he comes to church :)
The same spirit teaching this Lutheran boat-bilder about the grace of God, and its ability to repair our cracks with gold cement. (Also while petting his rescue dog from the streets of Russia).
And again, the same spirit watching the families of the ward eating donuts on strings with no hands and the Halloween party we pulled off day-of.
When the resurrected Christ appeared to his disciples in the America's he said "Blessed are ye" to those who physically were able to be in his presence.
He then went on to say "More blessed are they who shall believe in your words because that ye shall testify that ye have seen me, and that ye know that I am."
We are so blessed to be able to have faith. The spirit we feel in the simple moments will be the same spirit we feel we meet Christ again. What a blessing.
Love you all <3
