Week 69

Tjena o god jul!! This was a week with Christmas miracles.  We had the FUNNEST pday on Monday and after we had a lesson planned that got canceled, so we had a few hours to do something great.  So we decided to walk around the city in the pouring rain and talk to EVERYBODY! It was so fun. We were all in such good moods and a few minutes away from being home, and we waved to this one guy who was whistling as we walked by.  And then - no eye contact with each other, no words, we ran back and started talking to him. Gave him a book of mormom and he said "I thought it was weird when you came up to me, but I realize you're Begoña's friends!"  And we were like... "who are you....?" Turns out we had met him at this school the week before for like 10 seconds. Such a miracle with a good spirit.  ---  Other highlights: - while street contacting went up to this lady who said "So weird you guys are here, I was just thinking about the true meaning of Christmas" ...

Hallå från Malmö!!  I am thriving here. The weather is warmer, people are friendlier, and we take public transport so we get to talk to SO many people.  I got 2 cute new companions and I love them dearly. Such hard workers and we laugh SO hard every single day. #blessed  I guess we'll just do some bullet points for the week  - said my goodbyes in Jakobsberg, will forever be grateful for my time there and the wonderful people I met - on the train ride here I moved to sit by this couple and they were SO nice. That was the first moment I realized I wasn't in Stockholm anymore.  - They speak a different dialect of Swedish here (Skånska), and it is HARD! My first 2 days I had a headache trying to understand but it's better now.  - Went up and talked to this man with a table on the train and we had a nice conversation and that night a member tod us that was her inactive husband. She was SO happy we had been able to talk to him!  - went street contacting at 8...

Hej på er!! My last week in Jakobsberg was awesome, lots of miracles and very little sleep haha.  This Wednesday I will be moving to Malmö, land of my ancestors!! I will have 2 companions and I am SO excited!  I don't have much time to write today, so I just want to take a second and just say how thankful I am. I have changed so much on my mission, and the strongest way has been through getting to know Jesus Christ, and how Heavenly Father feels about me. I felt his love so strongly this week.  I love you all, have a great week and enjoy some pictures :)  Bullet points:. - Christmas conferences and Caroling in Stockholm / Gothenburg - Douglas got baptized!!  - parallel parked like a champ - Lots of travel, (little sleep)  - Christmas party in Jakobsberg!! So many non-members, it was SO fun! (Someone also made Mac and cheese tehe)  - Pet an American pitbull and that same day in the same area we found out that someone got attacked by one a little later t...

Hej!!  This week was a Rollercoaster that only went up  Wanna get a feel of the miracles that happened this week?  Yesterday before church we were setting up the translation, and this guys walks in says the following: "Hello do you speak English? I am from Ukraine and my Buddhist friend told me about your church and I would like to investigate it."  He explained he's looked into a little before, and really felt truth as he read about how God, Jesus Christ, and the spirit are 3 separate people but 1 in purpose.  Kinda cool because 3 days before that Syster Daines had to hold me back from this guy who wanted to argue about the trinity. God's plan / eternal truths >>>> --  Other highlights: - Splits w Norrland!! Had to take our car on ferry around islands to get to our lessons. Very fun!! - made salsa at 10 pm for 4 hungry sisters and put enough salt to salt the earth and no one said anything until we were done haha. Very funny!! - DOOR KNOCKING FO...
