Week 68
Hallå från Malmö!!
I am thriving here. The weather is warmer, people are friendlier, and we take public transport so we get to talk to SO many people.
I got 2 cute new companions and I love them dearly. Such hard workers and we laugh SO hard every single day. #blessed
I guess we'll just do some bullet points for the week
- said my goodbyes in Jakobsberg, will forever be grateful for my time there and the wonderful people I met
- on the train ride here I moved to sit by this couple and they were SO nice. That was the first moment I realized I wasn't in Stockholm anymore.
- They speak a different dialect of Swedish here (Skånska), and it is HARD! My first 2 days I had a headache trying to understand but it's better now.
- Went up and talked to this man with a table on the train and we had a nice conversation and that night a member tod us that was her inactive husband. She was SO happy we had been able to talk to him!
- went street contacting at 8 pm on a Saturday night and got asked out buy these guys, Malmö is a little party area.
- got to translate the meeting for a ukrainian family who translated to Ukrainian for their grandparents, it was so tender.
- my companion bought a live Christmas tree haha
- got pulled into during a 5-part music number and I kid you not TEARS as we talked about how hard it was after haha. We laughed so hard, none of our musical but we will be telling every one of our friends that we are singing so that they come to church haha.
Merry Christmas this week!! As our bishop said yesterday: "God is the real Santa and Jesus is the real Lucia (giver of light).
I'm thankful to be able to focus so much om the Savior this Christmas. Don't forget to take some time to do that this week too.
Kram!
