Week 78

Hejjjjj

We had a wild week, it felt like a total of 2 hours haha. Time makes no sense.

You know what else makes no sense?

Promptings.

Here's a list of promptings I got this week. Story time

1) go talk to the fisherman
-> had a good convo. Had a thought to give them a book of Mormon but unfortunately we had none left with us, went back later and made besties with the polish fisherman who let us hold their fish and said we can come back next week to fish with them and give them copies of the book of mormon in Polish.

2) go meet your living relatives
-> had their address but they have no idea I exist haha. So we showed up and he lives in a retirement home and they couldn't let me in or leave a message, so I left with some tears but then they yelled for us to come back and said they could go knock with me... they didn't answer haha. But it was so nice of them to try, meant a lot.

3) sit there
-> met the nicest girl who excitedly showed us her cross when we said we're believers and said she hasn't been in a few years but would love to come to our service.

4) "don't throw this candle away" during my cleaning session.
-> took it to an inactive member this week and talked about light. She excitedly talked about how she wants to share the light of the gospel with her cousin and that she'll take her to church on Sunday!

5) talk about prayer
-> Had a wonderful lesson with our friend who prayed for the first time. She was giddy after :)

6) say you like her jacket
-> her response? "No"

7) take out the Scriptures
-> the spirit turned this lesson with one of our new friends and his 2 friends from a q&a to a spirit-filled discussion about the reality of the Savior and how there is a plan. One of the friends asked, "hur kan jag övervinna tvivlet?" "How do i overcome the doubt?" THEY WERE SO HYPED YAY!!

That's something I've thought about this week. How do I overcome doubt? I wrote 7 out of many clear promptings I got this week. Not ever did I know what works happen, and it didn't always go to plan, but I know that I've changed for the better because of these promptings.

Love all of you
