Week 73
Tjena!!
There we were, sprinting to make the bus with a whole BUCKET of Thai food our friend had given us.
We were sweating in our coats but knew we HAD to make this bus. Why?
Because we met the cutest lady from Zimbabwe (Sys cook was there last year !!) and saw another one of our friends we were going to meet that night.
He's going through a bit of a rough time, so we got to give him the food and walk to the church together.
It was so simple but such a powerful reminder to me that God is in the details of our lives - he knows where we need to be to help others and why.

Other highlights:
- Aboud brought a whole thing of baklava to a lesson. Incredible.
- 2 of our friends committed to keeping the word of wisdom, incredible!
- president Davis's advice for my goals as I end my mission: "teach and baptize." Incredible.
- Had zone conference and got cardigans for the whole zone, incredible!
- went on a night run, measured my stride rate, not sure what I can do with that info but it was incredibly fun.
- Found a restaurant that sells shakes the size of JCW's. Incredible.
- Sys Bryson dyed her hair tehe, incredible.
Side note - I've been reading in Alma 30-42 this week. I have been so touched by the testimony he had and love he had for the Savior. Also, the pure amount of knowledge we get about God's plan from those chapters is.... well.... incredible.
Aparently my companions and I have had too much fun together and prez placed us all as far away from each other as we could get, and I have the HONOR of training a new missionary for my last transfer. I hope she's ready to run (in all possible ways) :)
Love y'all
