Week 71

WHEN WE ARE TRYING OUR BEST WE ARE ALWAYS PERFECTLY PLACED

Examples:

- Monday night, got on the bus

started talking to the bus driver

after a few minutes he said he was from the Netherlands

Pulled out a bom in Dutch

(prayed the day before, knew I needed that language) 

He said "detta måste vara gud." 

"This must be God."

- Our day on Saturday ended with us being FAR away late a night trying to fit one more thing in not realizing the bus home came once ever hour (!!!WHOOPS!!!). 

So we took our dinner by getting Ben and Jerry's and pizza (dinner of champions) and started talking to this kid and his dad came out and started asking us questions and after a few minutes we gave him a bom in Arabic (prayed about that one too). 

The restaurant closed, we waited by the bus stop and waved goodbye to him, and 10 minutes later came back with his card and said "om ni systrar behöver någonting, säg till. Och hör av er när ni kan prata mer om det här." 

"If you sisters need anything, let me know. And let me know when you can talk more on this."

- FINALLY on the way home talked to the same bus driver we had had earlier and he said "wow, it sounds like we believe the same things." (After talking about Macklemore of course). 

-----> side note- the first Swede we have met who loves country music... 

And a lot of other examples 

Highlights:

- did some quick knocking while waiting for someone to get home. Got invited in one (1) time and then he said "you're talking to a real atheist."  It was fun and fresh.

- Loudly explained to my companions how Jesus said in 3 nephi 12 "ditt dumhuvud" (You fool, or direct translation: you dum head), and had a Swede (who we didn't even see before) asked as she got off "vad sa du Jesus sa?" "What did you say Jesus said?" So we call that a first interaction with the gospel 

- Woke up at 3 am to one comp laughing and the other praying bc I said "get up" in my sleep haha. Classic. 

- Had splits w Lund and Karlskrona, queens 

- KINGS DAY the King came and left us bread and random candies (thx Sys cook)

- It rained SO much here during the week. Every night when we got home our coats were SOAKED. 

- had a zoom meeting in a McDonalds because there was no other open place, Gave a guy our card, he reached out, Started teaching him 

- a cute lady invited us to her restaurant, made us a ton of fries, introduced us to all her friends, and were gonna start teaching her (s/o to maria) 

God is so good! So thankful to be a missionary.
