Week 58

Hej!

So many miracles this week! To start off - Phillip got baptized :) We started teaching him about 3 months ago and when he came up out of the water yesterday he put his hands in the air, and he had the brightest sparkle in his eyes.

To make things even better, our friend Conny who got baptized about 5 weeks ago spoke at his baptism. And Phillips mom came and said she is coming back! Needless to say our hearts were filled with pure joy yesterday. I'm SO thankful to be a missionary.

Another story:

At 8 pm we had a sudden desire to buy something for Phillip for his baptism, but everything closes early in Sweden haha, except this one random mall, so we grabbed our stuff and headed over there super quick.

We're looking at the socks in H&M (because we are both AWFUL at gift giving haha) and there was this nice looking guy right there and my thought process went something like this:

"He looks nice. Dang it, that means I'm gonna get a prompting, now I have to ask him where else he likes to buy socks."

So I did just that and somehow it transitioned into this wonderful conversation about how God knows and loves him and how God wants him to find deeper meaning in his life. He's coming to church this week

Other highlights:
- grilled korv
- Made cream cheese frosting to eat with our Swedish cinnamon rolls
- splits w Göteborg and Stockholm South stls (2 of my former companions, amazing)
- bought our first box of pepparkaka (gingerbread), it is certainly not the last.
- our fun Mushroom centerpiece we made last week ended up being maggot infested
- found a flower field with fall-leaves in the background, a dream.

I love you all!
