Week 49
Hej hej!
I kid ya not I blink and it's already the start of a new week.
Also I have a question for you guys... is Sunday the start or end of the week? In my head it's always been the end but I'm starting to think I'm wrong lol...
Anyways...
We had another great week on paper, but to be honest I was feeling pretty low at the end of this week. Now I don't say this to have a "woe is me moment", I just say it to be honest. I usually write my emails like everything is perfect, and while my mission has been a wonderful experience, there have been hard times.
So there I am, at a low point, wondering if God really is helping me in this work - I had a memory that came to my head of just a few days before.
We ended up in the church that morning and we were doing our studies and all at once I had the strongest feeling to get to the center and street contact. And I was like "at 10 am?" So after trying to rationalize why I didn't have to for 30 seconds, I told my comp and we ran to the center and started talking to people.
After a few no's and interesting conversations, this guy sits on a bench right next to where we were. Flash forward 15 minutes and this guys has completely opened up about his beliefs and gives us his contact information.
He also answered our prayers by being a manager at a huge charity operation - we've been looking for a place to serve.
Anyways, it's easy to forget things. It was nice in that moment of lowness to remember.
I know that through it all that God is with me :)
