Week 46

Okay okay okay...

MAJOR second harvest vibes this week. 

We taught our friend Conny about faith this week, and we watched it click in his head. 

"you mean I just have to see if coming to church is better than going to the soccer game on Sunday? And to just try ordering something else instead of alcohol?" 

Yes Conny 

He came to church yesterday, and ordered a coke while with his friends. The wonderful thing is, I could see the new light in his eyes. I love that the Gospel inspires change in a way that makes people happier. I'm thankful for his willingness to exercise faith so I could see that. 

We got in contact with a sweet older lady this week. She has only had one other visitor all year. We found her Book of Mormon on her book shelf, and she absolutely LIT up when she started reading the things she marked up. 

We called her yesterday and she said, 

"I've been reading the Book of Mormon a lot. I want to be better." 

The gospel inspires change! The love that Jesus Christ offers us inspires change. I am so thankful for the front row seat I have in seeing this process occur in my life and in the lives of my dear Swedish friends. 

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS: 

- Zone conferences in Göteborg and Malmö!

- Splits with the Handen sisters 

    -> Side note - while street contacting I had a 20 minute convo with a man who only spoke Spanish, no idea how it worked, AND HE CAME TO CHURCH WORD UP!! 

- Played some uno on a train

- Started teaching a family 

- Said family came to church and absolutely LOVED it can I get a yee haw? 

- Started trying to do pull up and it's going to be a long process but ya gotta start somewhere eller hur? 

- Became a welder to celebrate our dear mission Presidents birthday 

- Ate MORE cheesecake !! 

- Saw real life snuggling ducklings on a run one morning and almost cried 

Life is so good, my heart is so full. Here's to another week of working alongside the lord :)
