Week 36

Tjena!!

I am staying in Gubbängen That means half of my mission in this area... that's crazy.

This was the most miracle-filled week of my whole mission. Easily.

Monday night we met with this guy who messaged us and said he wanted to talk about Jesus. What he really meant to say was "I wanna know who Adam's parents are and why Mary and God are married." So I left that lesson with a headache haha.

BUT this other guy came up to us during the "lesson", saw our tags, and said "yeah, I wanna know more." So God's hand was definitely in that espresso house :')

On Tuesday we got a call, and it was a sweet member saying her friend wanted to meet us! There are way too many miracles with this appointment to explain them all... so the biggest thing I can say is she read 7 words in the Book of Mormon, and then she couldn't read any more. Tears were streaming down her face and she said "I know it's true."

She also said that before she came she watched all of the anti videos she could, and that she realized that those people didn't have as much faith as she does. Jaw on the ground.

"I wasn't ready to meet you before my cancer, but I'm ready now."

Also remember a few months ago when I was complaining about how the sun never comes up?? This is me complaining about how it never goes down haha. We were in a lesson until 9:45 because we totally thought it was like 7:30. Have no idea how that happened.

Other highlights include:

- Saw my first rainbow in Sweden!!

- roasted some korv on a grill that me and Syster Lauder could not get a fire to stay on

- Helped a sweet old lady set up her shower curtain, only to realize the one we were taking down was one that me and my trainer put up 6 months ago

- Had a Bible bashing man come up to us and say we're not Christians and the guy we were teaching looked at him and basically said "you need more love in your life".

- DID A 5 MIN PLANK #transfergoals

- Have had the same headache for 3 days???

- Sang the us national anthem for the opening song of a meeting

- my little brother went to prom???

- Ate the tiniest strawberries ever
