Week 34

Hej på er!

Ready for a cool story??

Så that devotional that we had... we commissioned the elders to make "better than anything cake." Easy enough. We have a member we're working with who I knew is off of sugar for health reasons right now, and I knew she would be there. But I just figured we'd figure that out later.

But then as we're sprinting out the door, having literally 2 minutes to get to the train station on our way to the event WE PLANNED, and the clear thought comes to me "Bring a bag of frozen grapes."

But I was like nooooo those are mineeee and we're going to be late. But I gave into the peer pressure and brought them and gave them to her and she was so happy and thanked me a million times and I was like ah #service worth it good feelings.

AND THEN! This same member came to a lesson with us this week, and while talking about tithing, our friend felt unsure, and then this member testifies that God provided and tells the story of how I brought her grapes when she was most tempted by that cake. But because she asks from help from God she is provided for in some way everytime.

Now I don't say this story to be like "look at me lol", but to stress how much bigger and better gods plan for us is, and how we have no idea about the things he is doing for us in the background. Not only did my listening to that prompting make her day and show her God's love, it then gave her something to testify about when our friend was doubting.

In other news:
- Had a sick day this week
- Went to a soccer game to support our friend  (They won)
- Walked around town with a thankfulness board, had some wholesome conversations :')
- Had a lady ask me this morning while grocery shopping if I have aids because my legs are small... ???
- Ate some Indian/Swedish fusion cuisine?? Very good #approved

God is real, he loves and is aware of each and every one of us.

Med kärlek,
Syster Helquist
