Week 33

Hej på er!! 

Currently sitting on a sheet in our front yard, just soaking up all the sun 

Love it here. 

So something fun I was reminded of this week: YOU CANNOT PREACH WHAT YOU DON'T LIVE 

I mean like duh, enough said?? But it was a lesson for me this week. How many times have I told someone to trust in the Lord on my mission? Uncountable. 

But we had this big devotional we were planning and details kept on falling through and people canceling etc etc... and I realized I had such a clear choice: have faith or don't. 

Super simple, but I heard someone quote the scripture "var inte rädd, ändas tro" 1000x this week. I think Heavenly Father had something for me to learn. 

And ya know what?? The devotional was fantastic! The spirit was strong and smiles were all around. 

God provides!!

Here are some fun highlights from this week:

- Made blueberry pancakes for Syster Lauder's 2 months 

- Went and saw all the cherry blossoms in kungsträdgården 

- Saw a lightneen McQueen car on a walk with an investigator... 

- Our mission leader said the phrase "these are my hoods"

- Celebrated orthodox Easter with an investigator... ate some yummy Ethiopian food 

- Went on my first run in Sweden WITH NO JACKET such a celebration time 

OKAY AND ONE MORE STORY

we're teaching this little boy in a returning member family to prepare him for baptism. We also met a man who only speaks Spanish and a little English and has such such strong desire to learn about the gospel...

Trying to find translators here is so hard, and we didn't even think to ask this family, as they're just returning and both working double jobs. They go to bed at 6 pm lol.

After a lesson with this little boy, they invited us to stay for dinner. During dinner they asked all about the temple, and the spirit was so strong as we invited them to prepare to go. 

AND THEN the dad asks, "are you teaching any spanish speakers right now?" 

And we said uh yeah 2.

And he said "invite them to come here next week, we'll translate and eat dinner together."
