Week 30
Tjena! :)
I cannot believe I've been a missionary for 30 weeks. The feelings rival that of listening to downtown by macklemore in the car with the windows down
I will be staying in Gubbängen again, the promised land, AND I'll be getting a greenie, fresh out of the mtc. I hope this girl knows she's getting someone who stops to pet every dog and eats at least 2 cups of granola a day.
Side note - I ate both a hamburger and a korv in the same day. I hope you're proud of me dad.
Susanne came to conference with a returning member family??? Bore her testimony about the book of mormon?? Also there was a shark-lootery board? #sogood
Our sweet friend from Argentina met us for dinner this last week, and when we gave her a Book of Mormon she hugged it and said "I'm so excited to read this." And it reminded me how I should be when I read the book of Mormon, what a great gift it is.
Brief exposés:
- Moved an entire families apartment in record time to prove to our mission leader that we are stronger than the elders
- Got contact again with a girl we met on the train 6 months ago?? She's interested?? So cool.
- Zone conference
- Susanne gave us clothes... the next day a member followed suit. Y do people love to give us stuff
- Listened to conference in Swedish
- Found my barley based drink that I am ~obsessed~ with in a random Cafe down gubbängensvägen... miracles happen
- spent 150 kr on vanilla creamer at the American store because it doesn't exist in Sweden??
- After conference with this sweet family the dad said he wants to take the lessons again... he's ready to come back
Anyways, my love for the gospel grows everyday, because of my PERSONAL relationship with God. Focus on that, pray about that, and then go from there.
I am so thankful for this gospel, and so thankful to be sharing it here in Sweden.
Älskar er!
- Syster Helquist
PS- those 5 girls are all named Emma. Classic.
