Week 21 :)

Hejsan!

Some pretty incredible things happened this week, and I know I say that every week but ESPECIALLY this week!

Lets start with a few funny things:

- Our week started out with a trip to a grocery store to serve a member. She just had a little boy (pictured below), who is so cute, but since she has to take the train 45 minutes to get there it can be a lot, so we went with her. I don't know how to explain this store we went to... maybe like if Dollar Tree had produce? Random things everywhere, chaos, a pigs head in the meat section?? The cucumbers were squishy... but we found some peanut M&M's, so honestly worth it.

- Had a lesson with some new people... they said they were communists and asked what we thought about Kanye West. TBH one of the most out-of-body experiences ever.

- Syster Chandler is also afraid of spiders... so I have the great honor to kill them now, except turns out I am really bad at it. I tried like 10 times and he got away. That was pretty sad.

- One of our friends we started teaching gave us a bag of nuts from his home land??? SO NICE and they are so yummy.

- Played innebandy again with some YSA and my hands are STILL sore and it's been 3 days. I went hard.

Anyways... Martha got baptized on Saturday. The Elders have been teaching her for a few months, and her story is amazing and filled with miracles, but I'll say this quick one instead of that. We decided to sing "Peace in Christ" in Spanish for her, even though we don't speak Spanish and didn't have a pianist... it just felt right. While we were singing I looked up and saw a couple in the back row who I had never seen before. Turns out they ONLY speak Spanish... I could see the spirit in their countenances. They asked to have a lesson afterwards, and with a translator the elders were able to have a really powerful lesson on the Book of Mormon.

Susanne came to the baptism, we saw it in her countenance too :)

So proud of Martha, so thankful for the spirit.

Tender mercies :)

We talked with Susanne about the Plan of Salvation this week, and it was super powerful. She showed us photos of her grandmother and said "She is the one who taught me what love is." Watching her realize the POWER of the gospel and how we can be with our families forever was so special. It made me realize how incredibly thankful I am for God's plan. I know that God has a perfect plan for his imperfect children. He wants us back with him, but he also wants us to be with him now. Go say a prayer and build your relationship with him :)

I love you all! Have a great week :)
