Week 16

Hej :)

GOD JUL FRÅN SVERIGE

I hope all of you had a wonderful and  joyous Christmas :)

While talking to my family on Christmas my dad decided to start screen sharing, and then he pulled up the weather app to show that it was 75 degrees in Florida. I laughed. Then cried?? Now that Christmas is over I am READY for the summer!

Christmas as a missionary was amazing. Here I am so far away, and I just got to minister to those who were around me. I feel so blessed to be a representative of Jesus Christ right now.

We had 3 lessons cancel in 1 day. That's a lot haha. BUT we were not dismayed, so we grabbed a box of cookies, put a bow on it, and decided to take them to someone we knew in the building next to us.

She didn't answer.

So we went down to the retirement home.

They were closed. (Still don't understand that one).

So we walked to the gas station to give them to the workers.

It was actually a car shop, and no one was there.

We slowly walked back and talked about who we could reach out to to help when we saw this lady approach us. Without thinking much of it, we offered her the cookies, and she LIT up with joy. We wished eachother a god jul and we were on our way.

And just like that the 3 disappointments turned into a wonderful interaction with someone who might have needed it :)

I really think that's how Heavenly Father works sometimes. We have to be moving and trying for him to place people in our path. We were at the right place at the right time, and that wouldn't have happened without all of our prior attempts :)

I'm really thankful for a Father in Heaven who knows all, and who is working side-by-side with me.

I love you all! GOTT NYTT ÅT
