Week 13

Tjena :)

I'm going to jump right into this week with an AMAZING miracle.

2 weeks ago we were pretty much almost kidnapped (not being dramatic at all). We took the wrong train, and while we were trying to find a bus to take us back this guy came up to us and started talking to us. At first I was really excited, because no one does that here... but that's when I realized that no one does that here. His questions were all over the place but ended up with him saying that he liked us and that he wanted to date us... sigh. The good part: when we found the bus stop we started talking to a girl standing there since he was watching us from around the corner. THIS GIRL WAS SO NICE and we talked until he finally left us alone. The bad part: our bus came before we could get her contact info. (our bad).

SOOO we have been praying everyday to see this girl again. We got on the bus Thursday morning, and just like a movie this girl sees us, stands up, shouts "HEJ HEJ!" and runs to come see us! She was so happy to run into us, and my jaw was on. the. floor. We only had one stop together, but we gave her our card and told her to call us. Miracles.

I don't even know why I was surprised to see her, I can only imagine Heavenly Father smiling as he saw our shocked faces. He always knows :)

ANYWAYS HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I hope you all ate some turkey for me. But fear not: I had turkey korv (hotdogs) and some candied yams, and I couldn't have been happier.

We met with our sweet friend S on Saturday again, and I felt the spirit so strongly as I told her how learning Swedish is difficult, but that I just take it one day at a time. The Lord doesn't expect me to know the language perfectly right now. We talked about her quiting some habits and I could feel the same spirit that she did, that when we rely on the Lord and do our part, all things are possible.

"...by small and simple things are great things brought to pass..."
- Alma 37:6

I know that the Lord blesses our efforts. Take it one step at a time, rely on Him!! It is not through our strength, but through HIS that we can do everything that lies in our paths (Alma 26:12).

- We have 28 missionaries coming this week! On one day!

- It's gotten pretty dark this week, so I started taking 625% vitamin D. Sweden won't catch me slacking on my vitamins.

I love God, God loves you! God will help you with EVERYTHING! Rely on Him, pray for strength, and feel peace:)

(If you want to talk about this more, or if you have a scripture that talks about receiving strength from the Lord I would love to hear from you!)

I love you all! Enjoy the sun wherever you are this week
