Week 11?????

TJENA!

This week has been so incredibly incredible. Never have I felt so spiritually enlightened and tired at the same time! But, that just goes with giving everything to the Lord, He puts you to work!

To start off, the gift of tongues is real. All the missionaries in the stockholm area got together this week to do a zone conference and talk about ways we can improve and better help the people here come closer to Christ, and it was all in Swedish, but I understood all of it. I kid you not, it was absolutely insane to realize in the moment that I knew what they were saying and how I could apply it. I know it was Heavenly Father helping me so I could improve as a missionary. SO COOL!!

OKAY, so I have gotten some requests to talk about someone we are teaching, prepare yourselves

Here name is S, and I love her. I can tell how much she cares about finding the truth. She knew very little about the church, but read online that it will help her find peace, and I kid you not it's been 2 weeks and she is almost through Alma... which is like 200 pages. She's reading more than me??? Last time when we came over she cleaned her whole apartment, made us homemade deserts, and herbal tea. I got a little teary eyed with how thoughtful she is. Whenever we call her she is so excited to talk to us and say hi. She loves to swim, loves her cat, and loves her family. The best part? On her front door she has vinyl that says "families can be together forever." After we talked about the plan of salvation, I could tell she realized that it was true: God loves us SO much that he has prepared a way for us to be with the people we love most forever. Amazing:)

A few important points to make:

- saw a lot of pigeons
- watched Sister Owen's eat 11 1/2 Waffles and break the record at Pablo's
- put up Christmas decorations (we don't have to wait for Thanksgiving #absolutsvensk)
- ran in some beautiful farmland
- got to design my own sweatshirt at the coolest youth activity ever... tack Biskop Öquist
- ate way too much chocolate
- it got so chilly and I have a cold now, but those vitamim c tablets are working miracles
- went to Uppsala and ate some yummy curry and walked in the forest

I love you all so much :) if you have questions about the plan of salvation, or any scriptures you love about it PLEASE send them to me!

Okay bonus points if you've made it this far:
Yesterday was an iconic day as a missionary. Pablo (the wonderful guy who has fed the missionaries every Sunday for 10 years) had a lot of missionaries over for Waffles. Somehow, this sweet gentleman who looked exactly like Santa came too. Literally no one knew who he was or how he got there, but we just rolled with it. Halfway into the waffle feast he stood up and sang some opera for us, for 5 minutes. You really never know what you're going to get as a missionary, but I'm so thankful for little experiences here and there that have shaped my mission so far :)

Ha det så bra :)
