Week 6 :)

Tjena tjena!

 

 

It has been a fantastic week full of laughs and miracles. 

 

 

Syster Hammond and her loving family hosted most of our district for dinner and class over the weekend. Those who were not there, we sorely missed. Her family made Swedish meatballs  and her grandma made a Princess Torta cake. I WILL learn how to make one on my mission so I can come home and make it for special occasions. You are ALL welcome in advance. 

 

 

Seeing my district in person was SO weird! They had legs! They were tall! We weren't cutting in and out! They are all so Christ-like, and are all fantastic missionaries who will bring people closer to Jesus Christ. De ska hjälpa andra att komma till Kristus. 

 

 

My miracle of the week: 

 

 

Now, this is no Moses parting the red sea, but not a day has gone by in the past 3 days that I have not thought of it.

 

 

Syster Layton and I were practicing teaching one of our teachers a lesson on the word of wisdom, when he threw a total CURVEBALL OF A QUESTION at us. I was like... uhhh....???? (not to mention this is all in Swedish). All at once a PERFECT scripture popped into my mind to share, and although it was rough, I was able to testify of the truth of the scripture and the word of wisdom. I felt the Lord helping me, even though it was just practice! 

 

 

"Neither take ye thought beforehand what ye shall say; but treasure up in your minds continually the words of life, and it shall be given you in the very hour that portion that shall be meted unto every man."

-D&C 84:85

 

 

What an amazing promise. When we study out the words of life, we will know exactly what to say in the very hour we need it. God is with us every step of the way.

 

 

I am flying out next Thursday, it doesn't feel real! I am trying to eat as much Chick-Fil-A as I can before I fly out. Wish me luck!
