Week 4 :)

Hej hej mina venner!

Another week down! I simply cannot believe it. I feel like I have aged years, but also I feel like it's been 4 days.

This week was full of love and laughter! My wonderful cousins got married on Saturday, and I was SO blessed to be able to go (#perksofhomemtc). Family is so incredibly special, I am so thankful for the knowledge that I have that I can be with my family forever. That's pretty happy stuff right there.

Other highlights include hiking Silver Lake with my brother, wearing my dad's sombrero, and.......... GETTING MY VISA! That's right, it came! If you needed a testimony on prayer PLEASE let this help. I know Heavenly Father pulled some strings for me. There was, however, a little mix up, so I may be sitting at home for a week or get a reassignment before I can go. Either way, I feel so blessed and I have no doubt that God is on my team! (Please keep praying that the rest of my district can get theirs!)

Random: PLEASE GO LOOK AT THE CHANGING COLORS IN AMERICAN FORK CANYON! I could not believe it. Nature has always been my happy place, but as I was hiking with my brother there was no doubt that God was with me.

This leads into something that has struck me.

"Father, where shall I work today?"

And my love flowed warm and free.

Then He pointed me out a tiny spot

and said, "Tend that for Me."

I answered quickly, "Oh, no, not that!

Why, no one would ever see.

No matter how well my work was done--

Not that little place for me!"

And the work he spoke, it was not stern,

He answered me tenderly,

"Ah little one, search that heart of thine.

Art thou working for them or me?

Nazareth was a little place,

And so was Galilee."

D&C 64:33-

Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great.

We don't know all the reasons we are asked by God to do something, but we can have the assurance that it is for a great purpose. DO EVERYTHING FOR CHRIST. It will change your life, I know it has changed mine :)

ANYWAYS, this week was incredible. The gift of tongues is so real. Syster Daines and I taught our first lesson in Swedish. It was so scary at first, but then I felt calm. The promise that the spirit will bring ALL things to your remembrance, is so real. We stumbled and said "jättebra" a lot, but I felt the spirit as we testified that God loves us, and that He wants to help us.

Wow this is a long email! I will close by including an excerpt from Syster Daines's email: (kram puss).

"The Sisters™ in my district are getting very close. We have two group chats, frequently combined companionship study, and even soon-to-be-delivered matching t-shirts. Like any faithful sister missionary would buy, they all say, "Men Love Me, Fish Fear Me." These poetic shirts are all from a cute little shop in West Yellowstone. So be wary men and fish of Sweden. The Sisters™ are coming."

I love you all! PLEASE keep sending me life updates, they make my heart so happy!
